ADMISSION TO THE
RASHTRIYA INDIAN MILITARY COLLEGE, DEHRADUN

JULY 2006 TERM -
EXAMINATION TO BE HELD ON 1st AND 2nd DECEMBER 2005
|
The examination for
admission to the Rashtriya Indian Military College,
Dehra Dun-July 2006 term, will be held on 1st and 2nd
December 2005 at selected centres in the country of
which chennai city will be one. The examination will
consist of both written and Viva-voce tests. The
written examination will consist of three papers viz
English, mathematics and General Knowledge. The medium
of Examination will be in English or in Hindi for the
subject Mathematics and General Knowledge. The
interview will be held to test intelligence,
personallity etc. of the cadidates. The interview will
be held only for the candiates who qualify in the
written examination and the date, time and venue for
the interview will be intimated to them later.
2.application forms and prospectus for the above
examination can be produced from the Commandant,
Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehra Dun, by
sending D.D to the Value of Rs.190/- drawn in favour
of the Commandant, Rashtriya Indian Military College,
Dehra Dun. This can also be collected personally from
the Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehra Dun on
payment of Rs. 160/-. The application form and
prospectus will not be suppiled to the candidates from
the Office of the Tamil Nadu Public Service
Commission, Chennai. Locally printed/ Xeroxed forms
will be rejected.
3.Those seeking admission to the College should not be
less than 11 1/2 years of age and must not have
attained the age of 13 years as on 1st july 2006 (They
should have been born not earlier than 1st July 1993
and not later than 1st January 1995). No relaxation of
age limit will be allowed. The candidates should be
studying or passed class VII, in any recognised
School, at the time of admission in Rashtriya Indian
Military College, (i.e. on 1st July 2006).
4. Filled in applications in the prescribed form in
duplicate from the candidates (Boys only) whose
parents or Guardinates Reside In Tamil Nadu should
reach the Controller of Examinations, Tamil Nadu
Public Service Commission, Omanthoorar Govemment
Estate, Anna Salai, Chennai-600 002 not later than
5-45 p.m. on 30th September 2005. The details are also
